Pension Fund Administrators have begun the rollout of PENCAP, a self-service data recapture platform for Retirement Savings Account holders.
The exercise, which commenced on February 1, allows eligible contributors to update their RSA records online without visiting PFA offices.
The platform is designed for RSA holders who joined the Contributory Pension Scheme on or before July 1, 2019 and are yet to complete data recapture.
The deployment is driven by PenOp, leveraging digital solutions to support PFAs in pension operations and data management.
PENCAP enables contributors to complete the process on any internet-enabled device, including live biometric capture and document uploads where required.
All submissions are reviewed by the contributor’s PFA, with automated notifications ensuring transparency at every stage.
Completion of data recapture is mandatory to access key pension services such as retirement benefits, retiree enrolment and verification, RSA transfers, and other approved transactions. Eligible contributors yet to comply are advised to act promptly to avoid service delays.
The initiative underscores the pension industry’s push for digital innovation, efficiency, and improved contributor experience, with PenOp playing a central role in nationwide implementation.
