Nigerian football’s biggest names are set to light up Ikenne-Remo as the 2026 Nigeria National League Super Four kicks off Monday.
Former Youth and Sports Minister, Chief Sunday Dare, and NFF President, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, will attend the opening ceremony at Remo Stars Stadium, reflecting the tournament’s status on the national stage.
The stakes are clear: Ranchers Bees, Inter Lagos, Sporting Lagos, and Doma United have already clinched promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League after topping their NNL groups. From May 4–8, they battle for one final honour — the 2025/2026 NNL crown.
The Nigeria National League and its investor, Toptier Sports Management, have set a total prize purse of ₦10 million for the Super Four winner. In addition, each team will receive ₦2 million as a participation fee. The financial reward adds another layer of competition to an already fierce contest for the NNL title.
The Super Four also gives Nigeria U20 head coach a prime platform to scout talent ahead of upcoming tournaments.
“This is the most important league in the country, and the Super Four is where champions are made,” fans echoed online, capturing the buzz building across Ogun State.
Speaking ahead of kickoff, NNL Chairman, George Aluo, promised a spectacle:
“We are ready. Every detail is in place. Football lovers should expect the very best of Nigerian football. I’m urging fans to come out in numbers and back their teams, this Super Four will be special.”
All roads lead to Remo Stars Stadium as Ranchers Bees, Inter Lagos, Sporting Lagos, and Doma United contest the 2025/2026 NNL crown and a ₦10 million prize purse.
