What started with just eighteen pupils and six teachers operating from a small duplex in Omole, Lagos, has grown into one of Nigeria’s most respected educational institutions. Nearly three decades later, Mind Builders School stands as a powerful symbol of vision, excellence, innovation, and transformational leadership built through the dedication of Mrs. Bolajoko Falore.

As preparations intensify for a landmark symposium marking Falore’s 70th birthday and fifty years in the teaching profession, focus is shifting to the institution that has become the clearest reflection of her lifelong commitment to education and nation-building.
Scheduled for June 20, 2026, at the Mind Builders School Hall in Ikeja CBD, Lagos, the maiden annual symposium will gather key players from education, business, academia, and government to celebrate a woman whose impact continues to shape generations of learners and educators.

Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of UBA Plc, Oliver Alawuba, will deliver the keynote address, while former Vice Chancellor of the University of Ibadan, Professor Idowu Olayinka, will serve as Guest Speaker.
From its humble beginnings in 1998, Mind Builders School has evolved into a multi-campus institution known for academic excellence, leadership development, character building, and global competitiveness. Built around the philosophy of preparing children for future challenges, the school has established itself as a major force in private education.
Today, the institution caters to about 450 students with support from over 120 teaching and non-teaching staff across modern learning facilities, including science laboratories, ICT centres, language rooms, technology laboratories, creative studios, and other specialised learning spaces designed to deliver holistic education.

Beyond classroom learning, the institution continues to expand physically and strategically, with additional campuses, modern early learning facilities, and a sports complex sitting on over 9,000 square metres, featuring football pitches, basketball courts, tennis facilities, swimming pools, and a developing mini stadium project.
The institution’s biggest success story remains its people. Through sustained investment in teacher development, international exposure, quality learning, and favourable teacher-student ratios, Mind Builders has consistently produced graduates who excel locally and globally.
Between 1999 and 2015, Falore sponsored educational exchange visits to schools in South Africa and the United Kingdom, exposing teachers and administrators to global best practices that have helped shape the institution’s growth and reputation.
The results are evident. Mind Builders has produced first-class graduates across universities in Nigeria and abroad, while many former staff members now run successful schools across Nigeria, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Beyond academic success, the institution has remained committed to social impact through scholarships, support for vulnerable children, educational outreach, and interventions aimed at improving learning opportunities beyond its own walls.

Its influence has also extended into educational policy and advocacy through active participation in professional associations and leadership platforms shaping the future of education in Nigeria.
As stakeholders gather to celebrate Falore’s remarkable milestone, many see the greatest tribute not in the awards or accolades but in the institution she built a thriving educational legacy that continues to shape minds, build character, and prepare future leaders.
After fifty years of service and nearly three decades of institution building, Mind Builders School remains proof that vision, discipline, consistency, and commitment can transform a simple idea into a lasting national legacy.
