It was a day of joy and heartfelt celebration in Nyanya, Abuja, as family, friends, and well-wishers gathered at the Redeemed Christian Church, House of God Parish to honour Mrs. Josephine Nkemdilim Ezeaja on her 70th birthday.
The atmosphere was filled with warmth, laughter, and gratitude, as tributes poured in for the retired Administrative Officer of the Federal Ministry of Information, whose life has been defined by faith, resilience, and service.
In an emotional address, the celebrant gave thanks to God, describing service to Him as the cornerstone of her life. Quoting Psalm 103, she urged mothers to remain prayerful and patient, reminding them that “not all that glitters is gold.”
Married in 1972 to the late Mr. Emmanuel Mankwuo Ezeaja, the septuagenarian is widely known for her generosity, humility, and strong moral values. Loved ones describe her as a peaceful yet firm woman who embraces all with compassion.
An Elder in the church and fondly called “Grandma” by neighbours, Mrs. Ezeaja’s legacy as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother was celebrated through heartfelt tributes and goodwill messages.
The event drew to a close with prayers for her continued health and strength, as guests reflected on a life richly lived in service to God and humanity.
