GENEITH HEALTH COMPETITION TEAM CELEBRATES INITIATOR, REAFFIRMS DRIVE FOR MALARIA-FREE NIGERIA

The Geneith Health Competition (GHC) Activation Team has celebrated the initiator of the competition and Managing Director of CEOAFRICA, Prince Cletus Sunday Iloabanafor, on the occasion of his birthday, while reaffirming its commitment to achieving a malaria-free Nigeria through sustained public health advocacy and community engagement.

In a statement signed by Emmanuel Adams on behalf of the team, Prince Iloabanafor was described as a distinguished media entrepreneur, development communicator, digital innovation advocate, and public health champion whose leadership continues to drive impactful initiatives across Nigeria and beyond.

The team commended his contributions to journalism, information technology, public communication, healthcare advocacy, and national development, noting that his vision and commitment have positioned him among Nigeria’s respected voices in media and social development.

According to the statement, his birthday represents not only a personal milestone but also a celebration of leadership, innovation, and service that continue to inspire young Nigerians and strengthen efforts toward national progress.

The activation team further praised his role in advancing healthcare interventions through strategic partnerships and innovative initiatives, particularly through the Geneith Health Competition, which aims to mobilize communities, young people, and healthcare stakeholders against malaria.

The statement highlighted Prince Iloabanafor’s local and international recognitions for media excellence, humanitarian service, and contributions to African development, including honours received from organisations within Nigeria, Africa, and the diaspora.

The celebration also coincides with the eleventh anniversary of CEOAFRICA, which has grown into a leading African media and communication platform promoting objective journalism, documentary production, digital communication, and strategic media partnerships across the continent.

Members of the Geneith Health Team reiterated that the greatest birthday gift to the initiator would be the successful implementation of the Geneith Health Competition and measurable progress in reducing malaria prevalence across Nigeria.

The Chairman of Geneith Pharmaceutical and sponsor of the competition called on ambassadors, volunteers, and stakeholders to intensify grassroots advocacy and strengthen participation to ensure the success of the initiative nationwide.

As preparations continue for the rollout of the competition, the activation team reaffirmed its commitment to delivering a transformative campaign capable of improving public awareness, promoting healthcare innovation, and advancing the collective vision of a healthier, malaria-free Nigeria.
