PROGRESSIVE GOVERNORS FORUM CONDOLES WITH PRESIDENT TINUBU, NIGERIANS OVER BUHARI’S DEATH.

 
The Progressive Governors Forum has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari. The Forum extended its heartfelt condolences to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the late President’s family, and all Nigerians.
 
 
In a statement  signed by the Chairman of the Forum and Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma, the governors described the news of Buhari’s death as a profound shock and a monumental loss to the nation.
 
Governor Uzodimma praised the late President as one of Nigeria’s most emblematic figures of honest and dedicated leadership, noting that his era was shaped by integrity, patriotism, and uncommon sacrifice.
 
 
He highlighted Buhari’s distinguished career, first as a military Head of State and later as a democratically elected President, commending his resolute fight against corruption and indiscipline.
 
Governor Uzodimma stated that Buhari’s legacy as a moral compass for transparent and accountable governance will continue to inspire generations of leaders across Nigeria and Africa.
 
 
The Progressive Governors Forum joins President Tinubu, Nigerians, and the Buhari family in mourning, praying for the peaceful repose of the late President’s soul.
