SHOOTING SPORTS DEVELOPMENT :  NSC, SHOOTING FEDERATION SEEK PARTNERSHIP

The Nigeria Shooting Sport Federation is seeking stronger collaboration with the National Sports Commission to boost the development of shooting sports in the country.

 

President of the federation, Commodore Mohammed Shettima, led members of the board on a courtesy visit to the Chairman of the Commission, Mallam Shehu Dikko, in Abuja. He said the visit was aimed at deepening cooperation and aligning the federation’s plans with the commission’s mandate to grow sports in Nigeria.

 

Discussions focused on talent identification, grassroots participation and creating opportunities for Nigerian athletes to compete globally. Chairman of the Commission, Shehu Dikko, welcomed the initiative and reaffirmed the commission’s commitment to partnerships that promote youth empowerment and national sporting success.
