UNITED TO OFFLOAD MAGUIRE AND OTHERS

 

Manchester United defender Harry Maguire, tops the list of players to be offloaded as Manchester United prepares for a major overhauling this summer.

The former Leicester City player has been reported to reach a consensus with the Manchester club to part ways despite having a contract that runs till 2025.

According to reports from renowned Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United plans to let go off a number of players like Weghorst, Henderson,
Bailly, Telles, and
Van de Beek, although Beek wants to stay and fight for a place in Erik Ten Haag’s side.

Meanwhile, Qatar’s Sheikh Jassim has submitted an improved fifth bid for Manchester United takeover amid Sir Jim Ratfcliffe’s interest too. The bidding war has made staff and officials to become eager for clarity over the takeover situation which started in November 2022.
