UZODIMMA CONGRATULATES IMO NUJ CHAIRMAN NWANGUMA ON REELECTION

Governor Hope Uzodimma  has congratulated the Imo State Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Comrade Ifeanyi Nwanguma, and his executive team on their reelection for another three-year term.

Nwanguma and his team return unopposed at a peaceful election supervised by the National President of the Union, Comrade Al-Hassan Yahaya, and the Zonal Secretary, Comrade Irem Emmanuel.

 

In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary and Special Adviser on Media, Oguwike Nwachuku, Governor Uzodimma commends the leadership for earning the confidence of Imo NUJ members.

 

He urges them to demonstrate inclusive leadership, uphold professional ethics, and remain committed to responsible journalism within and beyond the state.

 

The Governor reaffirms his administration’s readiness to continue partnering with the media to strengthen public service delivery.
