The Honourable Minister of Works, David Umahi, has met with the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, to discuss plans for a formal presentation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s infrastructure achievements under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

The meeting focused on scheduling a briefing before the APC National Working Committee on the administration’s road and bridge projects across the country, many of which have attracted public attention and commendation.

Umahi commended the APC National Chairman for introducing an accountability framework that allows ministers to appear before the National Working Committee through live telecasts to present government achievements and progress.

He also praised the party leadership for what he described as the successful and peaceful conduct of party primaries, as well as its inclusive approach in providing a level playing field for aspirants.

In his remarks, Professor Yilwatda applauded the Minister’s role in driving ongoing infrastructure transformation across the country and assured him that the National Working Committee would soon invite him for the formal presentation.

The APC Chairman noted that Nigerians and party members have continued to witness the administration’s infrastructure drive through visible projects, media reports, and public feedback.

The Minister reaffirmed the Tinubu administration’s commitment to addressing national challenges while sustaining infrastructure development nationwide.

Following the meeting, the Minister proceeded to assess and address the developing situation at Eko Bridge.
