Stakeholders and members of the business community at the 47th Kaduna International Trade Fair were provided with deeper insight into the long-term strategic direction of the Dangote Group as its representative, Fatima Wali Abdurrahman, highlighted the company’s ambitious Vision 2030 roadmap.

Speaking during the company’s Special Day that drew strong interest from industry players, entrepreneurs and investors, Mrs. Wali Abdurrahman outlined the company’s plan to strengthen Nigeria’s industrial capacity and promote economic self-reliance through large-scale local production and value addition.

She explained that the company’s Vision 2030 is designed to position the conglomerate as a leading global manufacturing powerhouse while supporting national economic development through job creation, technology adoption and expanded supply chains.

She said the group’s investments across critical sectors such as cement, fertiliser, petrochemicals, energy, sugar and salt are aimed at reducing Nigeria’s dependence on imports and strengthening domestic manufacturing capabilities.

According to her, the strategy aligns with the economic reform efforts targeted at stimulating industrial growth and enhancing competitiveness.

Mrs Wali Abdurrahman noted that the company’s long-term vision places strong emphasis on partnerships with small and medium-scale enterprises, distributors and local suppliers, stressing that sustainable industrial growth requires inclusive participation across the value chain.

“At the Dangote Group, local content development is not a slogan, it is the foundation of our business philosophy. We believe that Nigeria’s prosperity must be built by Nigerians, using Nigerian resources, and for the benefit of Nigerian communities,” she said.

The company also used the Special Day to unveil the Dangote Sugar’s new packs of 25kg and 100g sachets at the Trade Fair.

Speaking, President of the Kaduna Chamber of Commerce Industry Mines and Agriculture (KADCCIMA), Farouk Suleiman, described the Dangote Group as not just a corporate organization, but a symbol of industrial excellence.

He commended the partnership between KADCCIMA and the company, adding that its consistent participation and support reflect its belief in the power of trade exhibition and networking.

A statement from the Corporate Communications Department of the company had said that the Dangote Cement, Dangote Sugar, NASCON Allied Industries (Dangote Salt), Dangote-Sinotruk, Dangote Peugeot Automobile, and Dangote Fertiliser participated in the fair, with each business unit operating a helpdesk to respond to inquiries from prospective customers.
