The FCT Administration has announced that the deadline for registration for the 2024 Hajj pilgrimage in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is December 27th.

The Director of the FCTA Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Malam Abubakar Adamu Evuti, emphasized the importance of early registration and depositing the minimum required amount of four point five million Naira (N4.5 million).

He also highlighted the need for stakeholders and the Muslim community to collaborate with the Board to ensure a smooth and successful pilgrimage.

For emphasis, prospective pilgrims are required to deposit a bank draft of at least N4,500,000 to secure their seat for the pilgrimage.

In a courtesy visit to the Chairman of the FCT council of Chiefs and Ona of Abaji, Alhaji Adamu Baba Yunusa, he pledged support for the Board’s efforts to sensitize intending pilgrims and encouraged government agencies to engage traditional institutions in disseminating information and implementing policies.
