The Honourable Minister of Works, David Umahi, has congratulated the Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Appropriation, Abubakar Kabir Abubakar, over his success in the recently concluded All Progressives Congress, APC, primary election in Kano State.
Umahi described the victory as a renewed mandate and an opportunity for Abubakar to sustain collaboration with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the National Assembly in promoting policies and infrastructure programmes aimed at national growth and development.
The Minister noted that the large turnout witnessed during the exercise reflects the continued confidence and support of the people of Kano State for President Tinubu’s leadership and the Renewed Hope Agenda.
According to him, the show of support also demonstrates the political strength and influence of key leaders in the state, including Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, Deputy Senate President Jibrin Barau, former Kano State Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and Abubakar Kabir Abubakar.
Umahi reaffirmed that the Renewed Hope Agenda remains a driving force for national transformation, economic growth, and sustainable development across the country.
