MEDIA PARTNERSHIP: DICAN WELCOMES KOREAN, TUNISIAN & ZAMBIAN AMBASSADORS TO NIGERIA 

The Diplomatic Correspondents’ Association of Nigeria (DICAN) congratulates Ambassador of the Republic of Korea
to Nigeria, Vice-Admiral Kim Pan Kyu, Ambassador Antit Mohsen of Tunisia and High Commissioner Muhali Imbuwa of Zambia.

Advising the newly appointed Ambassadors and the entire diplomatic community to embrace the 4D policy of the Nigerian Government for enhanced mutual relationship, in a statement signed by the chairman Diplomatic correspondence association of Nigeria Fred Idehai

DICAN called for partnership with the new-appointed Ambassadors, High Commissioner and the diplomatic community in order for their embassies to be properly reported as well as given quality media coverage to sustain the existing ties with their host country, Nigeria.

DICAN further assured the Korean, Tunisian and Zambian Ambassadors of its support at all times in line with the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and relevant laws in carrying out its legitimate duties.

The Association also used the occasion to commend the leadership style of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the Chairman, Authority of Heads of States, Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS for the fatherly role he is playing towards unifying the regional bloc, fostering peace and development in tandem with the dreams of its founding fathers.

While urging President Tinubu to adopt every diplomatic means possible in persuading Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger to returned to ECOWAS after their threat to abandon the regional body for a new group, DICAN also called on him to sustain his administration’s Renewed
Hope Agenda reforms inline with the nation’s foreign policy direction anchored on democracy, developments, demography and diaspora (4D).

Diplomatic Correspondents’ Association of Nigeria (DICAN) is an umbrella body of over fifty (50) Correspondents and Editors from the Electronic, Print, New Media (Online) and Wire Services officially assigned by their Media Organisations to report the diplomatic beat.
