NIGERIA FELICITATES WITH THE REPUBLIC OF GUINEA ON ITS INDEPENDENCE ANNIVERSARY

The Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, warmly extends congratulations to His Excellency, Dr. Morissanda Kouyaté, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Guineans Abroad of the Republic of Guinea, on the occasion of the Independence Anniversary of their country.

“This anniversary is a moment of pride not only for Guinea but for Africa as a whole, as it recalls the determination and vision of the Guinean people in achieving sovereignty and national progress. Nigeria shares with Guinea a deep history of friendship, solidarity, and cooperation, forged through common struggles and nurtured by a commitment to regional integration and African unity”.

Nigeria looks forward to advancing collaboration with the Republic of Guinea in key areas including trade, energy, education, security, and good governance, under the frameworks of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and the African Union (AU).

“We commend Guinea’s dedication to peace, development, and regional cooperation, and express confidence in the continued strengthening of relations between our two nations for the prosperity of our people”.
